Job Title : CNC Programmer

Location : Colchester, CT

Pay: $45-$55 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

As a CNC Programmer , your key responsibilities will include:

  • Programming complex aerospace components , including those with CAD models and probing (experience preferred)

  • Processing a variety of materials, such as aluminum, magnesium, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium

  • Determining the processes and tools required to meet product specifications and business objectives

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, geometric tolerances, and symbols to ensure compliance with military and commercial specifications

  • Troubleshooting and optimizing existing programs to improve efficiency and quality

Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in Mastercam and Vericut , with experience programming 3, 4, and 5-axis machines

  • Ability to program from drawings and operation process sheets

  • Highly organized, with the ability to maintain programming software, revisions, post-processors, program files, and tool lists

  • Punctual, reliable, and willing to work overtime as needed to meet customer demands

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Education Requirements :

  • 3-5 years of practical experience in CNC programming or equivalent education

  • Willing to train individuals with prior shop experience and a strong desire to learn

Hours :

  • First Shift : 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Thursday

  • Overtime may be available on Fridays depending on production needs

Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
