Coeur d'Alene Resort IT Support Technician-Hagadone Corporation in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
General Position Summary:
Manages, trains, and supports IT and end users, including the facilities, equipment, and the technical aspects associated with these functions. Provides 24/7 technical support, when necessary. Participates in strategic and organizational planning for the delivery of enterprise-level IT services and support. This position implies knowledge of IT Tier 1 level understanding of computers, networks, and related systems.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Plans and establishes Tier 1 end-user support, including, but not limited to.
Administrate, configure, maintain, recommend, test, troubleshoot, and upgrade the following:
Operating systems: Windows, Mac OS, etc.
Software: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Citrix, etc.
Hardware: desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, etc.
Networks: Wi-Fi, patch panels, cabling, UPS's, etc.
Monitor physical and network security and performance
Work with vendors to resolve hardware, OS, and software issues; research, test, and implement possible solutions
Train and support end users regarding equipment, systems, software, hardware, etc.
Document infrastructure, tasks, issues, requests, and changes
Escalate pertinent issues to Tier 2-3 support, or the necessary party
Performs other duties as assigned by the CIO
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify, document, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
Submit regular reports for upcoming and completed work
Attend department meetings as appropriate
Prepare, implement, and adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures
Attend and complete ongoing training
