Robert Half is actively recruiting for a knowledgeable, accomplished Sr. Accountant/ Consultant with deep manufacturing experience to assist our publicly held Aerospace client maintain the month-end close and accounting processes for 3 months project. The consultant's primary responsibilities will be month-end close, account reconciliations, accruals, contracts reviews, audit PBCs and preparing month-end and year-end journal entries. Strong Excel skills required, this role will be onsite located in Coachella, CA.

Skills:

-Advanced Excel skills required

-External audit experience preferred

-Excellent written/verbal communication skills required

-Must be able to work independently

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or related field

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proficient in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation and Journal Entries

• Advanced knowledge of accounting software

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• CPA certification is a plus.
