Kelly Services Mechanical Assembler in Clyde, New York
Assembler -2nd Shift
Location: Clyde, NY
Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our 1st shift production team. The assembler will be responsible for accurately assembling and testing products to meet quality standards, customer expectations, and production deadlines. This role also involves identifying process improvements and contributing to a continuous improvement culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions to ensure correct product assembly.
Follow standardized processes and safety protocols while assembling components.
Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and equipment to ensure precision and quality.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy, defects, and compliance with specifications.
Report any equipment malfunctions, material issues, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient workplace.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly (1+ years preferred).
Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use tools and measuring equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production needs.
