Parrott Landscaping, LLC Landscape Laborer in Clinton Township, Michigan

Parrott Landscaping LLC, headquartered in Clinton Township, Michigan, is seeking 6 temporary full-time Landscape Laborers.  The job will include worksites in Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Wayne, Lapeer, St. Clair and Washtenaw counties.  In order to perform the job duties, travel is required to various worksites daily whether at private residences or commercial properties.  Parrott Landscaping is a well-established, highly experienced provider of commercial and residential landscape services.  The worker will be required to arrive at the place of employment in Clinton Township, Michigan.  Parrott Landscaping will provide transportation to the worksites and all the necessary tools, equipment and supplies without charge or deposit.  Parrott Landscaping will also provide on-the-job training.  The work hours will be from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM from Monday -- Friday; 40 hours a week with overtime periodically required.  Must be able to work Saturdays and in adverse weather when necessary.  If there are more than 40 hours worked in a week, he or she will be paid time-and-a-half for all hours worked more than 40 hours.  The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.  The worker will be paid weekly, and Parrott Landscaping will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.  The job position is for temporary need starting March 15, 2025 and ending December 1, 2025.  Parrott Landscaping will make all appropriate deductions from the worker's paycheck as required by law and will not intend to withhold any deductions that are not required by law.

  RESPONSIBILITIES:  Our Landscape Laborers perform the following duties:  *Spring clean-up work to include removing of debris and dead foliage;  *Plant installation and maintenance consisting of mulching, trimming, weeding, mulching and replacement planting;  *Lawn installation (sod, hydroseed or overseed), as well as mowing, edging and trimming of lawns;  *Maintain irrigation systems, including winterizing the systems and spring start up; and  *Other tasks including, but not limited to, fall cleanup, installing rock gardens, operating grounds maintenance equipment and driving trucks or other vehicles to or at work sites.
