Randstad's premier staffing company is looking for a TIG Welder for the Clinton, Tn area! This role would work 3rd shift Monday-Friday with occasional weekends required and would pay weekly between $18-23/hr based on recent experience. This role requires recent "TIG" Welding experience for consideration and all candidates would need to pass a weld test prior to starting. work hours: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Responsibilities

This role involves performing various welding tasks, examining welds, preparing parts for welding, and ensuring the quality of welds

• Knowledge with MIG and able to perform work if needed

• Accuracy and thoroughness in welding work

• Weld metal components in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions if needed

• Repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes,

• Clean or degrease weld joints or workpieces

• Prepare parts for welding by grooving or scarfing surfaces

• Remove excess weld, slag, and spatter by chipping

• Test and inspect welded surfaces to identify and fix possible flaws

• Apply feedback to improve performance and monitor own work to ensure it meets quality standards

• Must be able past a WELD test, Having own tools/Hood a plus

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• standing for 8 hours at one time
