Job Title: Mechanical Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking an entry-level mechanic with basic mechanical skills to join our team. You will be working on equipment in a non-temperature controlled environment. The equipment can be dirty and heavy after use in the field. Mechanical aptitude is a must, and the rest is trainable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment

• Perform maintenance and service tasks using hand tools

• Assemble and disassemble components according to schematics

• Handle framing, carpentry, and basic construction tasks

• Work on trailers including mechanic work and electrical tasks

• Provide field service and preventive maintenance

• Install and repair systems according to blueprints

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude

• Experience with hand tools

• Troubleshooting and repair skills

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints

• Experience with basic electrical and plumbing tasks

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in drywall, framing, and carpentry

• Ability to use drills, screwdrivers, and other basic hand tools

• Experience in building the interior of trailers

• Basic knowledge of sheetrock and construction

Work Environment

Work in a large, open facility that is not temperature controlled. The environment may be dirty and require handling heavy equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00
