Taylor Power Systems Production Planner in Clinton, Mississippi

This is a position for a (Production Planner) located in Clinton.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products at Clinton and Richland facilities. Coordinate with various departments to align production plans with demand forecasts. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand or supply chain disruptions. Work with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of all materials. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow. Serve as the primary liaison between production, procurement, engineering, and sales teams. Communicate schedule changes, delays, or production constraints to relevant parties. Ensure production teams have clear instructions and necessary resources to meet targets. Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Generate reports on production performance, material usage, and schedule adherence. Provide insights to management on capacity planning and resource allocation. Address production challenges such as material shortages, labor constraints, or machine downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and minimize disruptions. Secondary production invoicing as needed. Data plate maker as needed.

Job Specifications or Qualifications

: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Two to three years of job experience or equivalent in demonstrated skills and ability. Computer skills to include prior use of Microsoft programs Word, Excel, and Google sheets. Organizational skills to monitor several orders from multiple systems. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. Effective communication and people skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work in a challenging environment and adapt to changing priorities.
