Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team. The role involves performing HPLC testing, preparing process and finished product samples, conducting analytical testing, recording results into software programs, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the lab area and equipment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for light maintenance and calibration of all laboratory equipment, organizing and scheduling orders for lab equipment, and ensuring all systems are operating accurately by comparing equipment readouts with standard samples.

Responsibilities

• Perform HPLC testing.

• Prepare process and finished product samples.

• Conduct analytical testing and record results in software programs.

• Organize and prepare samples.

• Clean testing equipment and lab area.

• Perform light maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.

• Organize, clean, and schedule orders for lab equipment.

• Ensure all systems are operating accurately by comparing equipment readouts with standard samples.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of laboratory practices and procedures.

• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.

• Experience with titration and titrations.

• Understanding of quality control, quality testing, and quality assurance procedures.

• Ability to handle lab testing and operate lab equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associates of Science or Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry or a related field preferred

• High School Diploma required

• 1-2 years of relevant lab-based experience.

• Ability to multi-task and run various tests.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Clinton,IA.
