The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has an opening for a Substitute Secondary School Counselor (2/10/2025-5/16/2025). The successful candidate will need to:
Ensures that students perform their best academically;
Helps adolescents navigate the unique educational, social, and behavioral obstacles related to attending school;
Consults with teachers, staff, and parents to enhance effectiveness in helping students;
Guide students through the development of educational and career plans;
Consults with other professional staff and outside agencies and other organizations;
Monitors student academic performance, behavior, and attendance and facilitates appropriate interventions.
Job Qualifications
Completion of NYS Registered Program – School Counselor
Institutional Recommendation – School Counselor
Workshop – Dignity For All Students Act
