Job Description:

  • Support the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems under test

  • Support design, development, and implementation of cost-effective procedures for testing and troubleshooting of components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and systems

  • Support development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation

  • Document testing issues and failures and perform analysis of test results

  • Support hardware and test software design, integration, test, and maintenance of laboratory and specialized end item test equipment

  • Support formal systems acceptance testing activities

  • Present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers

  • Support failure investigation activities and failure review board (FRB) meetings

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields

  • Operation of laboratory test equipment (specifically RF equipment)

  • Architectural design of Unit Under Test (UUT) Special Test Equipment (STE)

  • C++, Python, LabView software coding experience

  • Electronics Troubleshooting skills and understanding of digital, analog, and RF electronic circuitry.

  • Ability to read and understand engineering documents, schematics and wiring diagrams.

  • Proficiency in the use of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • 0 to 1 years of experience

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

    Preferred Skills:

  • RF engineering, knowledge of aerospace systems

  • Automated test software and scripting operation of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf equipment

  • Electrical and Mechanical design of Unit Under Test (UUT) Special Test Equipment (STE)

  • Power supply systems and antenna design knowledge

  • System Test Requirements allocation, analysis, and verification

  • Presentation and communication skills (verbal/written/visual)

  • Problem solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines

  • DoD Secret Clearance

  • GPA of 3.0 or greater
