Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking an Electronic Assembly Technician in Clifton, New Jersey. The technician is required to read and comprehend work instructions for mechanical and electrical assembly of Final Assembly hardware and successfully perform these hardware builds. Candidates may perform small-scale, intrique work or medium-scale heavy work. Candidate must be proficient with the use of torque tools and must be familiar with schematic diagrams.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to successfully complete electronic hardware builds.

• Able to read and comprehend work instructions.

• Proficiently use torque tools and must be familiar with schematic diagrams.

• Attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently with some supervision.

• Positive attitude and willingness to try new methods of performing work.

• 1+ year’s experience working in an electronic assembly environment.

  Qualifications:

• High school diploma.

• Must be available for day shift.

• U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

  Preferred Additional Skills:

• Technical knowledge of electronics assembly fabrication a plus.

• Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to present ideas and data to a group.
