Randstad is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Manufacturing Plant Controller to join our client's team and help drive financial performance in their growing manufacturing operations. The Plant Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities at a manufacturing facility. This role will manage cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure efficient financial performance and support strategic business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manufacturing finance, cost control, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will require:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's Degree of CPA/CMA is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
ERP System experience, JDE E1, a plus
Knowledge of Queries and Connections (PowerQuery) a plus
Lean / Six Sigma experience
Ability to interact with all levels of employees, management and outside professionals
Knowledge of GAAP accounting and automated accounting systems
salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year

Responsibilities
• Work with Supply Chain on inventory analysis and initiatives and coordination of physical inventory
• Monthly financial close (journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement analysis, management reporting)
• Assist with preparation of Annual Operating Plan, Strategic Deployment Plan and monthly forecasting
• Assist in the preparation of capital spending budgets and forecasts, work with project managers on capital spend tracking and timing, and perform audits of capital projects and existing assets
• Update and publish daily KPI reports
