salary: $30 - $35 per hour

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

Education & Experience Requirements

• Ability to interpret workflows, processes, and terminology in order to translate information into educationally sound training content

• Ability to present complex information, using language and analogies appropriate to the audience

• strong leadership ability to direct others without having line management authority

• Possess the ability to coach, influence, facilitate, present, communicate, process development, analyze and problem solve

• Critical thinking and strong analytical skills to support educational implementations and facilitates plant level team education regarding use of business operations machinery, tools, and process application

• A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in adult education/training within a manufacturing industry, preferred

• At least 2 years of experience building training/onboarding curriculums for hourly positions

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally

• Must be able to sit and stand in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time

• Must be able to walk around in an industrial plant safety sensitive environment on an ongoing daily basis

• Must have good manual dexterity (use of hands and fingers) to use a computer, copier, fax, phone, and multiple pieces of industrial equipment.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• Less than 10% overnight training. May be required to travel to other TN locations periodically.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
