Job Title: Material Handler Forklift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler Forklift operator to handle shipping and receiving orders using a stand-up forklift. The role involves using an RF scanner and pick sheet to manage hoses received and shipped. You will be responsible for picking 20-25 lines and navigating through the warehouse to ensure timely shipping.

Responsibilities

  • Operate stand-up forklift, pallet runner, and sit-down forklift as needed

  • Use RF scanner to pick and pack orders

  • Palletize and label parts for shipping

  • Lift and move materials, adhering to weight limits and using lift assist as indicated by the RF scanner

Essential Skills

  • Forklift certification

  • Experience with stand-up and sit-down forklifts and electric palletizers

  • Proficiency in using RF scanners

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items within specified weight limits

Work Environment

This position is in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. The team consists of 70 hourly employees. Shifts include: 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday; 2nd shift from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with a flexible option; true 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (soon to change to traditional hours); and 3rd shift from 9:00 pm to 5:30 am, Sunday night through Friday morning.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, TN.

Shift: 2nd - 2:45pm to 11:15pm

Pay: $21.50/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Weekly hours: 40, maybe 45-50 on occasions

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50
