Job Title: Cycle Counter & Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cycle Counter & stand-up Forklift Operator to help manage inventory and shipping and receiving orders using a stand-up forklift. You will use an RF scanner and pick sheet to process parts for receipt and shipment. This role involves picking 20-25 lines and navigating the warehouse to facilitate shipping. Stocking inbound parts in the appropriate places, as well. Cycle counting for inventory control. Documentation and reporting of shipping and inventory metrics and quality control with SAP.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift to move heavy materials throughout the facility

• Order picking for outbound parts and stocking for inbound parts

• Use RF scanner for shipping and inventory tracking

• Pack, palletize, and lift items for shipment

• Receive and ship hoses

• Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation, including cycle counting and SAP usage.

• SAP or other computer software usage for shipping and inventory tracking

Work Environment

You will be working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment with 70 hourly employees. The job involves picking hoses, pushing a cart, labeling parts, and taking them to shipping. Good management, good work culture!

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract-to-Hire position based out of Cleveland, TN. The duration of the contract is 4 months, but they always have the option of making you a permanent employee sooner.

Shift: 2nd - 2:30pm to about 11:00pm

3rd - 9:00pm to about 5:30am

Starting Pay: $21.50/hr

Schedule: 2nd - Monday - Friday

3rd - Sunday night - Thursday night

Weekly hours: 40, maybe 45-50 on occasions

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
