The Surgical Equipment Repair Supervisor assists the Surgical Equipment Repair Manager in the daily operations of surgical instrument or equipment repair, ensuring quality of daily operational needs within the department. Make any day a pay day with Daily Pay. What You Will Do in This Role Motivate and guide employees to meet departmental goals. Provide support to technicians by identifying problems and guiding them through corrective steps. Oversee repairs and quality measures. Work with Coordinator(s) to ensure work assignments are based on priority, skill and personnel. Monitor and track units and report to the manager for production analyses. Discuss repair order problems with team to define assignments based on priority and personnel. Manage up to 30 employees and report to upper management. Ensure team documentation of testing, maintenance, parts and repairs. Maintain work area in good condition and to meet Visual Workplace (VWP) Standards. Handle timecard & time off entry, review, and submission. Human Resources responsibilities, such career development, timecard & time off review and approval, employee performance reviews, etc. What You Will Need for This Role High School diploma or GED. Minimum of 5+ years of experience with Quality, Coordination, Supervision or related area. Advanced knowledge of repairs. The ability to temporarily fill in for Manager when needed. The ability to participate in both mandatory and voluntary overtime schedules. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The ability to maintain operations within quality standards. Basic Knowledge of vendors used and vendors in marketplace. Advanced knowledge of competitors and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The ability to sit, stand, lift, bend and stoop often.
