Abeona Shipping and Receiving Senior Associate, Supply Chain in Cleveland, Ohio
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator p rimary responsibilities will be to provide oversight on all inbound and outbound materials needing to be shipped or received to the Cleveland, OH facility. This role will primarily be focusing on the scheduling and physical packing of raw materials, Biopsy Kits, and any other samples to be sent to Qualified Treatment Sites (QTC) or to Contract Research Organizations (CRO’s).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the proper inventory is on site for Biopsy Kit Production and that material needs for future orders are properly cascaded to the Abeona Buyers.
Responsible for arranging the Biopsy Kit with the 3rd Party Courier for shipment to the Qualified Treatment Center(s) throughout the country.
Responsible for ensuring all products are shipped in accordance with DOT and IATA regulations.
Ensure consistent communication with both, Purchasing, Inventory Control and Quality Control Raw Materials for determining future send-out schedules.
Serve as an alternate conduit for receiving Abeona materials in accordance with established procedures and GMP guidelines.
Provide Direct Manager with Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as assigned.
Responsible for the continual assessment and implementation of core standing operating procedures for Biopsy & Biopsy Kit Production and Scheduling.
Perform necessary training to serve as a back-up to the Drug Product Transportation team.
Other duties or projects assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's (BA) degree or combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 2-5 years of work experience in Logistics Coordination / Shipping & Receiving / or Inventory Operations.
Intermediate to advanced level in MS Office, experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Ability to learn reporting tools.
Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with members of management team and staff
Must have good writing skills.
Must have good time management skills and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently or within a team.
Able to prioritize the workload to ensure delivery against tight deadlines.
