Description A Brief Overview Assists in major and minor surgeries under the direct supervision of a surgeon. Performs pre-operative and post-operative patient care within a peri-operative surgical site. Provides safe, efficient, age specific patient care. What You Will Do Displays knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body while delivering safe patient care. Involved in learning and self-improvement. Acts as a patient advocate. Actively participates in the quality improvement process Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
