Do you enjoy hands-on work and have an eye for detail? We are looking for a Quality Technician to work for a local manufacturer in the Valley View area. If you have previous quality experience in a production or manufacturing environment, we want to talk to you! We are looking for a Quality Inspector with Metal Stamping experience. Must have several years of Quality and Inspection especially with first piece inspections, blueprints, mathematics, hand tools, calipers, gauges and process improvement and more.

This is a Direct hire job opportunity and those interested will interview onsite with this client. If an offer is extended, it will be based upon a Background and Drugscreen prior to employment. Benefits, Vacation, 401K and much more are available for this candidate and this position.

salary: $41,600 - $50,000 per year

work hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

Pay: $20 - $24hr

Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

This inspector will perform first piece inspections for both manufactured and purchased products, interacts frequently with setup operators, tool & die makers and Quality/Operations Management to ensure production goals are met.

Duties:

• Prepare all necessary documents to start a job run

• Document production quantity at routine intervals.

• Perform roaming periodic inspections both visually and with measurement tools.

• Communicate out of tolerance findings to Production Management.

• Prepare necessary paperwork to close out production jobs.

• This position requires candidates to be on the production floor frequently - checking parts, testing parts, reading blueprints, and following up with operators

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
