Actalent Quality Engineer in Cleveland, Ohio

Job Title: Quality EngineerJob Description

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with suppliers and production teams to uphold and enhance product quality. Your core responsibilities will include developing and implementing quality plans, conducting thorough process audits, and pinpointing areas for improvement. You will also oversee supplier material review board (MRB) activities and corrective actions, maintain quality metrics, and support the development and execution of sampling plans, FMEAs, and control plans. Furthermore, you will develop test methods, conduct product testing, maintain meticulous test records, and perform detailed data analysis to prepare comprehensive reports. Training Quality Technicians and supporting customer-specific requests such as testing and product certifications will also be part of your duties.

The work primarily involves engagement in ballistics testing and a project named Unity, with a significant portion of time spent in a lab environment that includes a firing range.
