BASIC FUNCTION:

  • Program duration: 2 years

  • Program Structure: 4 rotational assignments

  • Rotations' length: 6 months each.

  • Travel requirements: The assignments will likely require relocation. You will also be required to travel to Parker’s corporate headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio for program review, personal development and interaction with fellow program participants and mentors.

  • Relocation requirements: Geographic flexibility is required both during and upon completion of the program.

  • This is not a remote position

What compensation is offered?

Participants are assigned to three US locations during their two years in the program, each providing a different manufacturing experience. The first assignment will typically be one year in duration followed with two assignments that are each six months in duration. The assignments will likely require relocation. Participants will also be required to travel to Parker’s corporate headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio approximately every six months for program review, personal development and interaction with fellow program participants and mentor/coaches.

Opportunities at End of Program Term: Parker recognizes the values of the experience and knowledge gained by the program participants. Prior to the end of the program term, the program participant is usually extended an opportunity to have a permanent position in a role as a site EHS leader responsible for some or all aspects of EHS management at a Parker manufacturing location. The role may require further relocation so a participant’s flexibility to move is an important consideration in the offer.

To join this program, you need to meet or exceed the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degrees in an engineering discipline, science discipline, environmental management or industrial/occupational safety. If an Engineering or Science major, a minor or focus in an environmental, safety or sustainability discipline is preferred but not required.

  • Superior students with a cumulative grade point of 3.0 or better with a graduation date before June 2024.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to relocate is required.

  • This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders] or have refugee or asylee status).
