Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining processes and the ability to operate various manual machines. This role is essential in producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications. The Manual Machinist will work closely with other team members to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and safely.
Duties
Set up, adjust and operate manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce parts according to specifications.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining processes and dimensions.
Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers and bore gauges to calculate dimensions or tolerances ensuring accuracy in production.
Disassemble, clean, repair as needed and assemble components as required, ensuring all parts fit together and operate correctly.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process.
Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for improved efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Proficiency with power tools and manual machining equipment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing principles to enhance productivity.
