Line work typically involves working with a group of other employees on a finished product. Lines normally pay on a group piecework basis, which means that all of the workers on the line are paid according to the number of units produced by the group. JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES): * A variety of set-ups and take downs for standard and prototype machining jobs will be performed. * Responsible for reworking and machining of new and spare production parts for various departments. Occasionally repairing of maintenance parts as needed. * Inspect incoming parts. * Occasionally order and maintain an inventory of consumable items for various departments. Complete lineup sheet for jobs in process. * Reports manufacturing problems to the Shift Supervisor or Manager. * Must have the technical completence to set up and operate a wide variety of shop equipment. * Use various measuring devices (tape measure, micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, etc.) * Must be familiar with the following: drilling, boring, counter boring, reaming and circle milling, threading, and grooving. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: * Possess good problem solving and troubleshooting skills and safety practices * Must be 18 years of age and older * Must be able to perform the physical aspects of the job depending on location requirements * Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check * Candidates must be willing to work a swing (or rotating) shifts * Candidates may be required to work overtime and weekends as necessary * Team focused individual with the ability to work well with others. * Strong detailed-oriented person with the ability to work in a fast-paced position * Ability to use various measuring devices (tape measure, micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial indicators) * Must be able to use math to calculate dimensions and determine speeds and feed rates * MustApply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjQzMzAwLjEwNTA4QGxpbmNvbG5lbGVjdHJpY2NvbXAuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t
