What you will do:

  • Assist with the oversight and implementation of programs on a worldwide basis to help ensure legal compliance initiatives.

  • Support in the review and preparation of action plans and responses to legal compliance purposes for internal and external parties.

  • Assess and advise on legal compliance matters, policies, practices and reporting systems, including CSRD, trade compliance and pending climate change initiatives.

  • Prepare reports for Senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.

  • Assist with outside advisors as necessary.

  • One who maintains accurate documentation of compliance activities.

  • Identify, investigate and report compliance issues, irregularities and violations.

  • Manage and work collaboratively with affected support organizations (i.e., Facilities, Maintenance, Security, etc.) on safety, sustainability and environmental initiatives and activities.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, emphasis in Legal, trade or sustainability compliance activities.

  • Business background in law, finance and business administration are relevant.

  • Five or more years relevant experience and demonstrated presentation and training experience highly desired.

Skills, Experience & Abilities

  • Knowledge of regulations and compliance standards such as CSRD as well as other related government regulations a must.

  • Proven experience working both independently and part of a team with a hands-on philosophy required.

  • Highly self-motivated individual with the ability, interpersonal and facilitation skills to work across functional team boundaries.

  • Able to work effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to present reports in a structured and efficient manner.

  • Experience with the development of regulatory compliance initiatives, professional development and retention strategies.

  • Proven ability and interest to identify issues, solve problems and implement solutions.

  • Interest and ability to become knowledgeable about emerging challenges, such as AI.
