The Sherwin-Williams Company June 2025 Packaging Engineering Co-op in Cleveland, Ohio
This Co-op begins in June of 2025 and will run through December. Co-ops will report to Cleveland, Ohio Headquarters. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships. Position Responsibilities: * Develop and implement packaging projects with Marketing, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Distribution and outside suppliers to meet customer requirements. * Conduct package and material tests, analyze data, and write reports including conclusions and recommendations to Division Package Engineering. * Conduct lab housekeeping. * Create, revise and publish package specifications. * Create, revise and publish testing procedures. Minimum requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age Must legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status Must currently be enrolled in a Packaging related degree program and are actively working toward a Bachelor's degree. Must have sophomore, junior or senior class standing at time of Co-Op Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8 Preferred Qualifications: Have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and/or Outlook) Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks Working knowledge of packaging materials such as plastics, paper, metal, etc. preferred Working knowledge of palletization software such as TOPS, CAPE, etc. preferred Sherwin-Williams is proud to be an Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, Inclusion and Diversity Supportive Employer.
