The Sherwin-Williams Company IT Oracle ERP Implementation Manager in Cleveland, Ohio

The Senior IT Implementation Manager is responsible for leading a team of Oracle Implementation Managers and Analysts to implement Oracle ERP Cloud. The role works closely within the DT product team, across other DT teams, and with Business Transformation. The role will be responsible for leading a team working in a hybrid agile environment, helping their teams prepare for sprint sessions, assisting in gathering user requirements, validating data conversions, configuring solutions, and testing the ERP system across Oracle and boundary ecosystems. This role will partner with DT teams to introduce functions like automated system testing. The role will work closely with EDO to ensure consistent data and reporting standards are being used. The role will be matrixed into working pods and will collaborate and communicate across both IT and business teams. The role ensures that solutions are designed and deployed meeting the business and customer requirements, and are standard and consistent where possible across Paint, Powder, Resin, Coatings and Assembly manufacture, sales, and distribution scenarios. The role will ensure their managers and teams are learning and understanding business processes and sharing knowledge within and across teams. The role has a significant influence on the growth and mentorship of their team with a significant portion of their time allocated to enabling their team members. Delegate and allocate responsibilities to efficiently manage change and effectively pass information down the line to concerned teams for smooth deployments Work in a hybrid agile environment by adapting to rapid sprint sessions by coming prepared to sessions Ensure cloud environment across multiple modules are configured consistently, timely and across tracks and parallel implementations while working closely with the implementation partner Partner with the Business Transformation organization to help build user stories that will ensure business scenarios are well outlined Facilitate the use of Jira to track and trace project milestones and eliminate the use of manual spreadsheets for project tracking Bridge the gap between cloud ERP, associated boundary systems and parallel implementations and releases by ensuring that the functional requirements are being satisfied Help to determine, validate, and implement user and IT security roles within Oracle and verify their compliance with the Governance team. Lead building methods and models of data validation and standardization Work closely with the Platform team on functional and technical specs for extensions and reports Configure OTBI reports and work closely with EDO and Product Owners on building best practice reports Conduct performance reviews of individuals, identify areas of improvement with specific feedback, and recommendations for promotions or salary increments Review downstream manager performance reviews, ensuring consistency in measurement, and cascading goals from upper management levels Design and implement a manager and team development strategy, mentoring and guiding as needed, interviewing new candidates to fill gaps and hire resources Formal Education: Required: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study (e.g., Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Systems Management, Mathematics) or equivalent experience. Knowledge and Experience: Required: 12+ years IT Experience 8+ years of leading and managing direct reports 6+ years Supply Chain application configuration and implementation experience with Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud and/or Sherwin Best of Breed applications in any Supply Chain field. 6+ years' experience in support of software applications.
