A Promise To Care East, LLC - OMJCC Home Health Aide (HHA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) FT/PT in Cleveland, Ohio
- Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application.
- Must have compassion for people.
- Successful completion of a CNA or HHA course or be found on the Ohio STNA Registry as active.
- Or Agency training, along with written and skills testing by return demonstration
Or One year satisfactory institutional or community-based direct service delivery within the past three years, along with successful completion of written testing and skills testing by return demonstration.
Wearing clean, ironed full nursing scrubs (top & bottom) or APTCE branded T-shirt, closed toe shoes, socks & name badge at all times while working.
- Gives client bed bath, tub bath, and shower.
- Includes peri care, and external catheter care when appropriate.
- Provides skin care according to condition warranted.
- Gives oral hygiene with the appropriate dentifrice.
- Cleans, cuts and files client's nails. (DO NOT CUT NAILS OF DIABETIC)
- Gives hair care by combing and shampooing when appropriate.
- Dresses or assists client with dressing.
- Adjusts position on bed or chair.
- Shaves patient when appropriate, using electric or non-electric razor.
- Transfers client to wheelchair, bed or chair when necessary.
- Assists with toileting, using urinal, bedpan, bedside commode, or toilet
- Assists with meal preparation and meal planning
- Assist with general housekeeping duties
- Assist with shopping and errands
