Job Summary
Design and develop secure/scalable Microsoft and IBM-based software integrations in Parker's Cloud and On-Premise environments. Accountable for ensuring proper application deployments, maintenance, documentation, continuous improvement, and advancing the state of the art in support of the IT strategic vision and roadmap.
Responsibilities
This role is subject to Export Control Restrictions (ITAR) and all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee
Develop new integrations for enterprise systems, setting the standards to be used by other developers.
Champion modern integration patterns and techniques (including API-first, domain-driven design, event-based architectures)
Administer and support integrations running on IBM App Connect Enterprise and Azure platforms
Partner with Integration Architect and Development Team Manager to set the direction for the merger of legacy and modern integration technologies.
Be the point of contact and a subject matter expert in integrations for other IT teams.
Responsible for documentation and training of other integration developers.
Collaborate with EMEA counterparts to ensure consistent integration best practices are followed.
Qualifications

Design and implement scalable, high availability applications on Microsoft Azure, .NET Framework
Experience in administering, developing integrations on IBM integration technologies
Experience\Exposure to a majority of following Integration Technologies
Azure portal
App Service Setup and Configuration
Azure Functions
Azure API Management
Azure Storage Resources (Storage Accounts, ADX, Azure SQL, …)
Azure Event Hubs
Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, etc.)
Enterprise Service Bus Architecture
Message Queues
Middleware and their administration (Execution Groups, Integration Flows, etc.)
API Management
Modern Messaging and Integration Technologies (Kafka, Event-Driven Technologies)
Legacy File and Message Movement Technologies (MQFTE, SFTP, FTP)
Knowledge and experience in modern microservice and API Development (REST, ODATA, etc.)
Well-versed in multiple integration designs\patterns
This role will require the candidate to learn and support multiple integration technologies. Exposure to other integration technologies is preferred, best candidates will have some of the following:
4-year University / College Degree
5 or more years’ experience in Information Technology with demonstrable experience within a similar role.
This role requires excellent analysis and problem-solving skills. It will suit someone who is highly self-motivated, and results driven.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with non-technical people in plain language.
Have project and product leadership experience with an understanding of project management methodologies.
Ability to communicate and interact with internal and external technical partners across a global enterprise.
