Robert Half Eligibility Specialist Lead in Cleveland, Ohio
Description
We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity in the non-profit sector, based in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the eligibility determination process for youth participants, coordinating training and orientation sessions, and serving as a primary point of contact throughout the participants' work experience.
Responsibilities:
• Establish and nurture working relationships with participating youths, their families, and worksite supervisors.
• Coordinate daily validation appointments for several families, assisting with application paperwork completion and requisite documentation collection.
• Regularly review youth timesheets for accuracy and completion, resolving any discrepancies and maintaining detailed reports.
• Serve as the primary contact for youth participants and their families, addressing inquiries related to the work experience and payroll.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate files for each youth participant, documenting every interaction and ensuring file integrity.
• Assist participants with all aspects of program enrollment, including completion of application paperwork, work permit processes, background checks, and necessary employment forms.
• Conduct program orientations and job readiness training sessions in collaboration with the Case Management Team.
• Regularly visit worksites to ensure proper supervision of youth participants, adherence to labor laws, and maintenance of program quality.
• Proactively resolve issues at worksites, ensuring both the youth participant and supervisor feel supported.
• Regularly distribute and collect program paperwork from participants and worksite supervisors, delivering work-related supplies as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings as required and submit reports and paperwork as directed
Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Office Tools.
• Experience in the Non-Profit sector, particularly in Human Services.
• Proven track record as an Eligibility Specialist Lead or similar role.
• Ability to guide and mentor team members effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in education-related roles such as Sunday School Teacher or Tutoring.
• Prior experience in Preschool or Public Schools environment would be advantageous.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
