POSITION OBJECTIVE  The Director Of the Global Nurse Leadership Program is a key member of the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing Marian K. Shaughnessy Nurse Leadership Academy leadership team. The role encompasses global initiatives of the The Director is responsible for initiating and fostering international programmatic and academic opportunities for leadership development while directing, overseeing and managing all administrative functions for the global nurse leadership development education programs, including financial and programmatic management. The Director interfaces with key leaders in nursing and healthcare within existing partnership programs (Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, the Philippines, Kenya, Nigeria, Italy) and initiates additional partnerships with key nursing and healthcare leaders globally. The Director will support the Marian K. Shaughnessy Nurse Leadership Academy faculty to deliver exceptional global leadership program results. The Director must communicate well and coordinate closely with the Academy¿s Director while being able to independently represent global initiatives of the Marian K. Shaughnessy Nurse Leadership Academy, advocate for the Academy and the global program interests, present programs, preside over special events, and ensure the smooth operation of the global leadership programs in the Academy Director¿s absence. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  1. Initiate, develop, implement and evaluate the Marian K. Shaughnessy Nurse Leadership Academy¿s international programmatic and academic opportunities for leadership development (including short and long term Fellowship and continuing education programs from 1 hour to 18 months); manage all administrative functions for the global nurse leadership development programs, including financial management. The Director interfaces with key leaders in nursing and healthcare within existing partnership programs (Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, the Philippines, Kenya, Nigeria, Italy) and initiates additional partnerships with key nursing and healthcare leaders globally. The Director Responsibilities include providing program leadership, developing program materials in collaborating with key leadership faculty at CWRU and within partner institutions in the US and globally, identifying key mentors for each international Fellow in the global programs, and coordinating all program activities, including curriculum materials, Fellow to mentor matching and subsequent meetings between Fellows and mentors, travel for nurse leaders from CWRU and partner countries, program rosters and key program documents, assembling welcome and orientation materials, communicating with program participants, and managing and evaluating feedback surveys across all programs, initiating continuous quality improvement processes to enhance programs based on feedback obtained from global partners. The Director may need to travel to partner countries. (45%). 2. Manage events to facilitate global programs and direct all administrative tasks related to participants. Coordinate all correspondence with key individuals for the Global programs, assist with all program logistics, and, with faculty participants, preparing and posting required readings and lecture materials on Canvas. Coordinate reminders and payments for guest lecturers and international Fellows while ensuring the completion of paperwork for program participants (15%). 3. Organize all program evaluation activities, including drafting evaluation surveys using appropriate tools. Ensure prompt sharing of program evaluation results with program leadership and global partners (15%). 4. Create and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and agreements; establish, organize, and maintain filing systems for program and participant records (15%). NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  1.
