This position is accountable for the creating, relocation and / or remodeling of PCG Automotive Branches, and other building facilities & training centers within US & Canada. This position is also accountable for the supporting the division leaders, RBMs in pursuit of sales goals, new processes, and resolution of code issues, assistance in the resolution of legal & EHS issues involving owned or leased branches. SUMMARY OF POSITION: This position is accountable for the creating, relocation and / or remodeling of PCG Automotive Branches, and other building facilities & training centers within US & Canada. This position is also accountable for the supporting the division leaders, RBMs in pursuit of sales goals, new processes, and resolution of code issues, assistance in the resolution of legal & EHS issues involving owned or leased branches. MAJOR TASKS PERFORMED BY THIS POSITION Opening new branches, relocation and remodel Work closely with real estate manager to work with brokers to identify new potential locations. Create Site Specific layout and CAD drawings for financial estimates, once location is finalized, develop site & floor plans for necessary approvals and construction. Create Proforma Fixtures & Equipment List for new location, estimate racks, fire systems and other equipment cost to help sales & operations team. Lead the project by managing contractors, and/or supervise internal or external professionals. Create Lease exhibits for attachment to actual lease. Include design guidelines, site plan, floor plan etc. Support Real Estate Manager with lease renewals. Support sales organization by implementing new process, i.e. 5 Gal Scales, 5 gal shakers etc. Participate in automotive business plans, stay current on division direction on new, relocation and remodel of branches. Maintenance & Repair Implement a preventive maintenance system/software for auto branches. List key assets and related tasks. Coordinate with local and national contractors to ensure branch assets are operational to help with business continuity. Crisis Management Support branch managers address any damages due to Loss & Incident. Coordinate env. cleanups. Work closely with EHS specialist. Support Loss Prevention team to address any branch related security concerns, Including intrusion and fire alarm conversions. Advise automotive leadership on older assets and suggest plan on improving equipment reliability. Continuous improvement Identify areas of improvement by looking into national vendors e.g. intrusion detection & fire alarm systems Develop business case for LED conversion based on Corporate Sustainability Efforts and Goals. Stay up to date with new equipment and tools available in the industry to stay current on technology. Support sustainability initiative for automotive branches. Upgrade existing systems as/when necessary. Identify new modern looks for auto branches to improve customer experience and look/feel or overall branch. Documentation & Training Develop training documents for branch managers. Contribute to safe standard operating procedures. Maintain engineering design, auto CAD and other critical document. Keep all operational permits, fire permits up to date. Assist branch managers with equipment training by vendors and/or by help developing internal training content. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
