University Hospitals Health System Anesthesiology Assistant in Cleveland, Ohio
University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center Anesthesiology Assistant to work in Cleveland, Westlake, Mentor, South Euclid, Beachwood, Chardon, Parma, Willoughby, Painesville, Ohio (multiple locations): Interview patient and review essential data to verify patient readiness for anesthetic. Prepare patient by starting access lines and initiating appropriate therapies. Prepare equipment and drugs needed. Assist with induction, maintenance and emergency phases of plan. Administer anesthetic under direction of an anesthesiologist. Collect samples and specimens for testing. Requires a Master's degree in Anesthesia (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience). Must have to be able to obtain Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants as well as Ohio Medical Board License.
