This is a summer internship position. Candidate should expect to work approximately 37.5 hours per week with a hybrid work schedule. SUMMARY This position will contribute to assisting the Stores Banking Analyst in day-to-day activities, evaluate projects, and perform ad hoc reporting while supporting both the Treasury and Risk team. The purpose of the Internship Program is to envelope the intern in corporate finance professional development, provide them with real world experience working through projects, ad hoc tasks, and collaborating with different teams amongst the organization. Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS Treasury Management System Support Static data maintenance for SW treasury programs. Ad Hoc Reporting Store Banking Assist with various projects related to the domestic store's banking services to help streamline stores deposits and reduce bank fees. Maintain Stores Banking Inbox which supports the opening of new accounts for the Sherwin stores. Tasks include, providing support to stores to maintain banking needs, including speaking with store employees, addressing issues with banking, and facilitating communications with our banking partners. Analyze stores bank fees and help determine opportunities to reduce costs. Assist with the implementation of our new Bank Service Fees program, evaluating new night drop/check services, and evaluate/reduce underutilized services from banks. Risk Management Assist with various Risk Management projects related to store leases and the risk engineering for the property insurance program. What is the Process to get Started? POSITION REQUIREMENTS FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma and currently pursuing, at a minimum, working towards a bachelor's degree in a finance or accounting related field KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Required: Previous work or related coursework in Finance Preferred: Ability to interface with top management. Knowledge of capital markets, corporate banking and cash management products and services, and foreign exchange markets. TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills Ability to analyze data and make decisions quickly. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
