JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan Qualification Testing according to detailed test plans, test cases, and test procedures for hydraulic valves and solenoids.
Design and set up test rigs and fixtures required for testing.
Define testing criteria, parameters, and acceptance thresholds in collaboration with design and quality teams.
Execute tests according to established plans and procedures.
Conduct performance, endurance, environmental, and safety tests on hydraulic valves and solenoids.
Utilize various testing equipment and instrumentation to collect data.
Record and analyze test data, identifying trends and anomalies.
Analyze test results to determine compliance with specifications and standards.
Prepare detailed test reports, including data analysis, observations, and recommendations.
Communicate test results to engineering, production, and quality teams.
Identify and troubleshoot issues arising during testing.
Collaborate with design engineers to resolve product performance issues.
Provide feedback and recommendations for design improvements based on test results.
Ensure all testing procedures comply with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the testing area.
Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry trends.
Propose and implement improvements to testing processes and equipment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Aerospace / industrial background
Utilized test equipment (hydraulic) experience
Proven experience in testing hydraulic systems, valves, and solenoids.
Strong understanding of hydraulic principles and fluid dynamics.
Proficiency with testing equipment and data acquisition systems (DASYLab or LabVIEW a plus)
Proficient with Creo 7 or other CAD Software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
