Honeywell Workflow Specialist (1st shift) in Clearwater, Florida

As a Workflow Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for leading a team of Assemblers within the Defense business unit. Your expertise in leadership will be key to improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring smooth operations.

This is a Workflow Specialist position for Defense Aircraft and Surface assembly.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on streamlining processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity and quality. Your contributions will play a crucial role in assisting the ISC business unit in achieving operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm Monday - Friday

• Delegate daily tasks to your team members efficiently to meet build plans.

• Order parts for the team in accordance with the build plan.

• Provide training and facilitate to employees on systems and processes.

• Ensure adherence to exceptional Quality Standards

• Project positive influence on your team members

• Lead/Run RPS/RCCA process.

• Work closely with all functional groups including AME, QE, TE, Scheduling, Test, Offline, and leadership teams.

• Maintain calibration and certification standards on all items.

• Ensure your team is always audit ready.

• Analyze existing workflow processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.

• Lead Tier meetings, train associates to lead tier meetings.

• Assist the supervisor in interviewing and identifying candidates for hire.

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement optimization strategies.

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

• Act as a back up to the Supervisor when out.

• Collaborate with other Workflows to flex labor daily to ensure ALL teams meet their daily goals.

• Coordinate cross training within the team to ensure maximum flexibility.

• Must have a willingness to adapt to varying work schedules during peak periods.

• Flexibility to occasionally extend working hours as needed.

• Should be comfortable adapting to a dynamic work environment on a daily basis.

US Citizen Requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements

YOU MUST HAVE

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment, leadership or related role.

• Proficiency in workflow optimization methodologies and tools.

• Strong thoughtful and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

WE VALUE

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Experience in process improvement and lean methodologies.

• Knowledge of workflow management software and systems.

• Six Sigma certification or equivalent.

• Strong project management skills.
