Job Description

A client in the Clearwater, Florida area is looking for a sr. Java Developer to join their team. This candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, performing coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting of their material handling software. This software is directly interacting with the hardware inside of distribution centers. (Pick to light systems, conveyors, automated retrieval systems etc.) They will be working primarily on the backend of this software and reporting directly to the software engineer manager.

Skills and Requirements

45-60 hour

7+ years of software development, specifically within Java

Experience developing on JDK framework

Following Object Oriented Programming

Experience working with SQL (views, creating tables, creating index's, connecting the database to the application)

Knowledge developing with TCP/IP protocols Material Handling industry experience

Developing a software that interacts with a device/hardware null
