Job Title: Plumber Helper

Job Description

As a Plumber Helper, you will be well-versed in underground and new construction work, as well as fixture installation. You will work with cast iron pipes, no hub systems, and be responsible for installing drain waste and vent systems. You must be able to cut and thread pipes, proficiently handle rough-ins (both above ground and underground), and perform finish or trim-out tasks where final installations and connections are made ready for use.

Responsibilities

• Work on new construction and renovation projects in large commercial construction settings.

• Handle domestic water and sanitary installations.

• Install fixtures, hangers, and pipes.

• Work with CPVC, PVC, and install water lines.

• Read and interpret blueprints for plumbing installations.

• Cut and thread pipes as needed.

• Perform rough-ins and finish or trim-out tasks.

Work Environment

You will be working on a new construction site at a Clearwater restaurant. The role requires comfort working in various weather conditions and alongside other contractors. The work schedule includes Monday to Friday shifts, with four 10-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week, with potential opportunities for overtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00
