Actalent is Hiring an LPN for Oncology ClinicJob Description

Seeking an experienced LPN to join our oncology center team, tasked with handling a high patient volume of 65-75 per day. This role requires taking on MA duties temporarily, with minimal training, in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include general nursing care, assisting physicians during examinations and treatments, patient assessments, administering medications, and managing patient records and schedules.

Hard Skills

• Prepping charts

• Taking vitals on consult patients

• Nurse triage patients

• Enter information into medical software systems

• Orders imaging and scanning

• Assists with the preparation of equipment

• Observes and reports patients' conditions

• Administers prescribed medications

• Screens patients for appropriate information

• Schedules patient tests and procedures

Soft Skills

• Quick learner

• Effective communicator

• Organizational skills

• Ability to work under pressure

Work Environment

The work hours are from 7am to 3:30pm with an hour lunch break.
