Role Description As a Behavior Technician, you will be responsible for implementing behavioral interventions, applying Applied Behavior Analysis techniques, and fostering effective communication with clients and their families. Behavior Technicians provide play-based instruction to autistic children in their home/community/school settings. Instruction is based on a comprehensive treatment plan identified by the Licensed Behavior Analyst. You will receive frequent supervision and support to provide these interventions to improve the child's adaptive function to learn the foundational skills necessary to promote self-confidence, self-reliance, self-advocacy and other necessary skills to increase their autonomy and chieve success. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote the growth and autonomy of families and their children, including but not limited to speech pathologists, occupational therapists, social/emotional learning instructors, special education teachers, and other providers/stakeholders that take part in the child's treatment.
This is a part-time (typically after school) with a potential for full-time, in-home role as a Behavioral Technician There are several available positions throughout Johnston and Harnett Counties, NC.

* Qualifications:*
- Passion for helping others, specifically children and families with autistic children
- Dedication, consistency, punctuality, and organizational skills
- At least 18-years-old
- High school Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficiency in effective communication
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
- Ability to multitask and take data on behavior
- Driver's License and dependable transportation
- Complete training and obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification within 90 days of employment

* Preferred:*
- Previous Applied Behavior Analysis experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience working with children in home/community/school settings
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and related therapies

- Understanding of evidence-based practices and interventions
