Graybar Communications Specialist in Clayton, Missouri

As a Communications Specialist, you will write, edit, and develop content for a variety of print and digital formats, ensuring consistent messaging.

In this role you will:

  • Write, edit, and develop content for a variety of print and digital formats, ensuring consistent core messaging and brand integrity

  • Determine best medium for messaging: digital, print, etc.

  • Coordinate communication projects from conception to completion ensuring work is on time, on budget, and on message

What yo u bring to the table:

  • 3+ years experience in corporate communications required

  • 4 year degree in Journalism, PR, Communications, or Marketing preferred

  • Knowledge of AP style and corporate communications principles

  • Knowledge of message delivery options including print, social media, public relations and other digital formats

  • Feature writing and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to adapt writing for a variety of audiences, both internal and external, creating compelling messages that inform, educate and persuade

  • Strong time management skills, organization skills, and ability to transition quickly between various assignments and prioritize tasks while meeting deadlines

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

  • Some travel required

Compensation Details:

  • The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $23.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
