ManTech Helpdesk Technician in Clarksburg, West Virginia
Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented, Helpdesk Technician to join our team. This position is onsite, rotating shifts and eligible for shift differ candidate must be able to work on site in Clarksburg, WV.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation and LAN performance.
Provides answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps.
Improves client references by writing and maintaining documentation.
Participates in development of client training programs by identifying learning issues and recommending instructional language.
Accommodates client disabilities by recommending devices and techniques.
Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements.
Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of bachelor's degree or combination of relevant work experience
Proven work experience as a network administrator or technician.
Strong working knowledge of access, administration, application server, archival, and configuration management software.
Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.
Physical fitness to lift and carry heavy technical equipment.
The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good reasoning and decision-making skills.
The ability to work under pressure.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have an active Top Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a business campus or large facility
