The Department of Human Services (DHS), Clark Summit State Hospital is looking for a motivated Maintenance Repairman 2, who has proven locksmith skills. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will maintain facility locks, door mechanisms, and door frames. You will repair locks, issue keys, maintain a locksmith shop, fix doors, and install panic hardware. In addition, you will perform journeyman level skilled work in several other trades including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment repair. This role requires good time management and decision-making skills to prioritize and complete work following established standards.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Weekends and on-call holidays have a 12 person rotation. Overtime and travel as needed. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1;or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
