Requirements:

Administrative Support experience

Experience working in a laboratory setting is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential for effective document creation, data management, and presentation development.

Space and Lab Preparation, Labeling and Organization, Lab Station Setup, Welcome Day Support for Employee

Manage locker assignments for new employees, ensuring efficient access, accurate records, and distribution.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented business support team member to play a crucial role in preparing a functional, efficient, and welcoming laboratory & open desk space environment for move. This individual will be responsible to assist in the preparation and organization of lab and open office spaces ensuring smooth operations for all users at move in. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, possesses good communication and logistical skills, and has a strong proficiency in standard office software.

Responsibilities:

Space and Lab Preparation for employee move-in: assist in preparing a well-organized and efficient lab environment through planning and execution. This includes:

Labeling and Organization: Create, replicate and implement a clear and consistent labeling system for storage units, lab stations and other key areas. This involves creating, printing, and displaying labels that facilitate easy identification and optimized workflow.

Lab Station Setup: Assist in setting up lab stations, ensuring that equipment stations are properly labeled and aligns with the laboratory reservation app and interactive map. This includes verifying functionality and accessibility of all equipment.

Welcome Day Support: Provide essential on-site support during move in Welcome Days, contributing to the setup of various stations and activities to ensure a positive and informative experience for new users.

Locker Logistics: Manage locker assignments for all new employees, ensuring efficient access and distribution while maintaining accurate records. This includes assigning lockers, tracking usage.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential for effective document creation, data management, and presentation development.

Experience working in a laboratory setting is a plus.
