Saint-Gobain Scheduler/Production Analyst in CLAREMONT, North Carolina
Role
Reporting to the Plant Superintendent, the Scheduler/Analyst shall be responsible for all aspects of finished goods production planning, line scheduling, and the procurement of third party finished goods. Additionally, the person will execute corporate and strategic plans to meet goals, including supplier consolidation, delivery performance, and inventory turns. Further responsibilities include manufacturing data analysis, administrative responsibilities of the manufacturing software and involvement with process control that is surmised from data collection.

Responsibilities
Position is responsible for the scheduling and planning of the work orders for manufacturing operations, accountable for the development, maintenance and execution of the master production schedule. The incumbent works closely with plant supervision and team members to monitor material, equipment, machine and personnel resources. Assists in the manufacturing, implementation, efficiency, and effectiveness of new and existing products. Ensures production demands are met while maintaining a safe workplace for employees. Responsible for leading the coordination of varied multiple activities to ensure the production of high performance products with the quality, delivery, and cost to meet customer's requirements.
He/she identifies constraints and schedules new orders to most effectively utilize plant resources. He/she provides feedback to supervision on changes or events that effect the production environment, maintains the production schedule to reflect change, and recommends actions relative to lead times. The objectives of this position are based on continuous improvements in on- time delivery, cycle time reduction and cost avoidance.
