Robert Half (Technology Solutions) is searching for an IT Network Technician with experience in networking, routers/switches, LAN/WAN, and connectivity. Responsibilities:

• Managing and troubleshooting fiber wireless networks

• Conducting wiring closet work and replacing switches as required

• Connecting patches and performing tech refresh tasks

• Maintaining cleanliness and efficiency of fiber networks

• Managing UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems

• Conducting wireless surveys to assess network coverage and performance

• Collaborating with the team to prepare and execute projects

• Ensuring effective networking from core to IDF access point firewalls

• Utilizing skills in Networking, OSP, Patch Panel, Cable Installation, Cabling, Fiber Optics, Switches, Firewall, LAN - Local Area Network, and WAN - Wide Area Network for efficient management of network systems.

Requirements • Minimum of 3-years experience as a Network Administrator or similar role within the non-profit sector

• Proven expertise in Networking

• Demonstrable knowledge of OSP

• Experience with Patch Panel operations

• Proficiency in Cable Installation and Cabling

• Understanding of Fiber Optics technology

• Familiarity with Switches and Firewall systems

• Extensive experience with LAN - Local Area Network

• Experience with WAN - Wide Area Network

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred

• Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP are desirable

• Familiarity with non-profit sector and its unique technological needs will be an advantage. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
