Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Shipping Associate to join their team. As a Shipping Associate, you will be part of the logistics department supporting efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping Associate

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $15.50 per hour

1st shift - 6 am to 4 pm Monday thru Friday - subject to change

What's the Job?

  • Directly responsible for shipping, receiving, and accounting of all produced or ordered materials to or from the client.

  • Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.

  • Operate forklifts and maintain workspace, loading docks, and material storage areas in compliance with safety policies.

  • Account for the correct quantity, description, and size of all produced goods or equipment to be shipped.

  • Record relevant information on a Shipper/Packer List and enter inventory control data into MRP.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping or logistics role.

  • High School diploma or GED required.

  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6 am to 4 pm.
