Electronics Test Technician

Full Time - Dayshift - Monday - Friday
Description
- Responsible for the setup and performance of electrical tests per written standards and procedures as well as the operation of electronic test equipment, computer software, and data acquisition systems for performance of prototype qualification test programs.
- In this role you will use digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.
- Keep detailed and accurate written notes to describe each test being performed to maintain an up-to-date logbook on each test program.
- Accountable for instrumentation and equipment inventory, shop cleanliness/organization, and direct coordination with the customers.
This job involves physical labor such as lifting, carrying, moving, and cleaning equipment/materials.
Qualifications & Competency Requirements
- Associates/Technical degree in electronics is required OR 2 years' relevant experience in an electronics-related field or industry.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Comfortable working with three phase electricity (208 V and 480 V).
- Comprehend and interpret test standards.
- Writing Skills - (Reports, Tests and Procedures/Setups)
- Experience with industrial machinery and instrumentation preferred.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Quality and detail-oriented
- Maintaining a clean work area.
- Safety-first mentality, Always wearing proper PPE and
- Communicating any potential hazards.
- Able to lift, carry, move, or transport objects of up to 50 lbs
