Job Description:
This role will be a part of Operations Excellence and will report to Sr Manager.
The Cloud Admin Lead is responsible for overseeing the management and operation of cloud-based applications and infrastructure during onsite hours. This role involves partnering with application partners, addressing urgent issues, and ensuring the smooth functioning of cloud services.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
The role expects the resource to perform the following functions:
Act as the main point of contact for all application customers, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
Handle and resolve any urgent issues that arise during onsite hours, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
Coordinate the maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
Ensure that cloud solutions adhere to security policies and compliance requirements.
Work closely with IT teams to develop and implement cloud strategies and solutions.
Maintain detailed documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with audit, security, upgrades, and other vital requirements for supported technologies.
Regularly track, review, and report on ticket progress, ensuring alignment with CPIs and critical metrics.
Possess the knowledge and ability to interpret, educate, and ensure alignment with SDLC and ITIL processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent years of experience.
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in cloud administration or a related role.
Superb communication and presentation skills
Proficient in problem-solving and resolving issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of established security guidelines and compliance measures.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integrating OCI with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, SAP).
Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., OCI Certified, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator).
Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
