Onyx is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our growing Trade Regulatory Monitoring (TRM) service line. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development and delivery of a cutting-edge solution that helps businesses navigate the complex world of international trade.
You will work collaboratively with regional, industry, and functional counterparts on relevant trade policy and regulatory issues. You may also be included in client consulting projects on global trade and analysis. You will have the opportunity to partner with colleagues across the firm to establish sophisticated cross-functional and cross-regional analysis.
About TRM:
Our TRM service monitors changes in trade regulations, including tariffs, export/import restrictions, and other relevant measures. By leveraging technology and our team's expertise, we ensure clients stay ahead of the curve and support their global operations.
Responsibilities:
Product Development & Maintenance:
Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the TRM service, including refining processes, data sources, and reporting mechanisms.
Collaborate with technology teams to optimize system performance and ensure information accuracy and timeliness.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the TRM service.
Business Development Support:
Assist in the creation of marketing materials and presentations for the TRM service.
Participate in client meetings and presentations to showcase the value proposition of TRM.
Support the development of proposals and responses to client inquiries.
Client Service Delivery:
Manage client communications and maintain reliable service delivery.
Onboard new clients to the TRM service, ensuring a smooth transition and understanding of the service offering.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery.
Team Collaboration
Collaborate closely with the Onyx team and other Expeditors colleagues to develop key calls on the future of trade policy and regulations.
Support client work including presentations to clients and the public.
Expertise: Deep understanding of international trade policy and regulations.
Experience: Proven relevant experience within a consulting, industry, or government agency setting.
Communication: Excellent English speaking and writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to set milestones, set and manage work plans, manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Client Focus: Demonstrated experience in a client-facing (internal or external clients) role with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
Job Type: Full-time. Expeditors has an in-office work policy and offers 26 work-from-home days per year. Depending on location, employees may be required to travel for client and team meetings.
Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required), Master’s Degree (Preferred)
Experience: 5+ years relevant professional experience
Work Location: Global, ideally Mexico City, Mexico
